The following are the minimum hardware requirements for us to meet our service obligations. Other hardware may be supported on a “best-effort” basis at our discretion.

Uninterruptable Power Supply

All desktops and servers must have adequately spec’d battery backups.

Network devices can share a single adequately spec’d battery backup.

  • Storage: Minimum 256 GB Solid State Drive (SSD)

Servers (Physical)

  • Warranty: Current and Active Manufacturers Warranty
  • RAM: Minimum 32 GB
  • Storage: Perc Add-in Card
  • OS: Windows 2016 Standard/Datacenter, Windows 2019 Standard/Datacenter, Windows 2022 Standard/Datacenter
  • End of Life: No

Systems without an active warranty will receive support under our best effort policy. YourIT does not perform hardware repairs on laptops and will perform hardware repairs and maintenance on desktops at our discretion (typically limited to servicing hard drives). This policy comes from over 15 years of service and support – a $200 extended warranty is a significantly better investment than a $500 repair and 3 days of downtime!
